If you compare it to the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-2mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH which is made of plastic. The lens is made of metal, and does not feel cheap at all. I like that you can adjust the aperture outside, and not via the software in the BMPCC4K – it reminds me of the cinema lenses. – But maybe the aperture ring, will make this quite hard for you? If you are able to do this, this would be great on a gimbal. I know that people are 3D-printing focus rings etc. I guess it MIGHT be possible to attach a focus-puller with some sort of contraption. But the downside is, that it is almost impossible to keep steady while you are focusing.
